Cielo Acuático is the second work in the El Sol Sale Para Todos series by Italian artist Paola Capon — a series born from solarigraphies, those long-exposure images that trace the sun's path across the sky.
In this piece, the sun's journey dissolves into water. Created with watercolor, gold leaf, paraffin, acrylic, and pigment, the work layers transparency and weight, light and depth — the way the sky and ocean mirror each other at the horizon.
Blue dominates. But it is not a single blue. It shifts, breathes, and catches the light like the surface of the sea at different hours of the day.
This is not decoration. It is a moment suspended in time.
